Refund Policy
Last updated 27 July 2026
The short version
If Guardian is not for you, tell us within 30 days of buying it and we will refund you in full. You do not have to give a reason.
How to ask
Email guardian@obsessed-productions.com from the address you bought with, or reply to your receipt. Your receipt comes from Paddle.com Market Ltd, who process payments for us, and you can raise a refund with them directly as well. Either route reaches the same place.
Tell us the email address used at checkout, or the order number on your receipt. That is all we need to find it.
What happens next
Paddle.com Market Ltd issues the refund to the original payment method. Banks vary, but the money is usually back with you within five to ten working days. Your licence key stops being valid once the refund is processed, and we would ask you to remove Guardian from your machines.
After 30 days
Write to us anyway. If Guardian is not doing what we said it does, we would rather sort it out or refund you than have you stuck with something that does not work. A policy is a floor, not a ceiling.
Your statutory rights
This policy sits on top of the rights you already have. Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act in South Africa, and equivalent consumer law in the UK and EU, you may have a cooling off period for goods bought online. Our 30 day window is longer than those minimums and does not replace them. Nothing here removes a right you have by law.
Faulty software
If Guardian is faulty or does not do what we described, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of how long ago you bought it, and the 30 day window does not limit that.
